EnAble India began in 1999 with one question.
How do we create independence for PwDs?
What started as a quest to help one person gain economic independence has grown into a nationwide movement. Founded by Shanti Raghavan and Dipesh Sutariya, EnAble India was born from a deeply personal mission when Shanti’s brother, Hari, began losing his sight at the age of 15. Their journey to help him soon expanded into a transformative initiative, impacting nearly 5 lakh persons with disabilities across India—and the impact continues to grow.
