Inclusive Ecosystem

EnAble India co-created a model with 10 PSUs/Government Organizations for the inclusion and productive engagement of Employees with Benchmark Disabilities (EwDs), recruited through Reservation.

Tailored to specific organization domains, this model enabled internal teams (leaders, trainers, HR etc.) to provide the right support and EwDs to contribute meaningfully in their current roles and grow in their career.

Key departmental portals (like CBS, HRMS & Khajane Treasury software) became assistive tech–friendly for employees with vision impairment/low vision. Workplaces were adapted for Deaf and hard-of-hearing employees, and those with locomotor disabilities. EwDs became solution-driven, valued by their teams and trusted by their customers.

Our Approach

Technology and workplace practices are always evolving. To ensure employees with disabilities grow and contribute effectively, we follow a four-step approach to build inclusive systems.

System Enhancement

Worked with government departments to influence policies, circulars, and internal systems that support job mapping, assistive solutions, and employee databases.

EwD Engagement

Employees were trained in disability-specific skills, mapped to appropriate roles, and supported through expert visits and hands-on workplace guidance.

Organizational Partnerships

Inclusion was co-created with leaders and teams through awareness workshops, peer sensitization, and job orientation sessions to help EwDs integrate smoothly.

Strengthening Support Systems

Built long-term capacity by training domain experts, HR, and support staff, and equipping internal and external stakeholders through structured programs.
